Some Natural Anti-Acne Products you will find in the market
Tea Tree Oil, Aloe Vera, Zinc, and Vitamin A are some natural products that have been used with some success to cure Acne. A word of caution about 'natural' skin care items. They often contain certain chemicals for preservation purposes. Some of these may not be advisable for you if you're pregnant or have certain special health considerations. As mentioned, it is best to consult with your doctor before embarking on any therapy.

Tea Tree Oil
Tea Tree Oil is obtained from the Melaleuca alternifoliais tree from Australia. It is very effective against Acne as it contains bacteria-fighting substances called Terpenes. Acne is often caused by bacteria and the Terpenes either outright kill them or weaken them enough to be destroyed by protective antibodies. There are very little side effects from using Tea Tree Oil.

Aloe Vera
The watery gel from Aloe Vera plant is also a highly effective natural cure against Acne. The enzyme-rich gel has very soothing anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It can also be taken internally and helps clean up and detox the digestive tract. This in turn can help clear up the skin.

Zinc
Zinc is taken in the form of capsules. It helps to strengthen the human immune system and to repair the skin.

Vitamin A
Vitamin A tablets are also a natural and effective Acne cure. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E also helps in countering Acne. It is a natural antioxidant and beneficial for the skin. Vitamin E comes in soft gelatin capsules that contain Vitamin E, Soybean Oil, Glycerin, and Water.

Some Natural Homemade Cures to counter Acne
The most important thing to do if you suffer from Acne is to drink at least four pints of water every day. Drinking a lot of water is very beneficial to your skin. Including fresh fruit and leafy green vegetables in your daily diet will also bring about a marked improvement in the quality of your complexion.

Before bathing, apply a mixture of tomato pulp – real tomota pulp, not packaged one – honey and rose-water to your face and keep for twenty minutes before washing off.

At night, before going to bed, apply a mix of cream, glycerine, and lemon juice to your face and again keep it on for a short while before washing.

Regular Yoga exercises will also improve skin and overall health.

Things to Avoid

Avoid touching your face all the time, keep your hair away from your face, and avoid picking at pimples.

Another important thing if you're prone to Acne is to avoid using heavy make-up – in fact, it is preferable to avoid make-up altogether. For an effective cure, stay as natural as possible.

Wash your face thoroughly every day. Apply hydrogen peroxide on the acne. Even putting toothpaste on acne may help get rid of them since they can dry them out. Avoid using vaseline if the skin gets too dry. Get some sunlight on the skin since sunlight has an anti-acne effect, but not too much if your skin is fair. Also avoid sugary foods or too many carbs, and get plenty of water. You may need more than 3 days, and don't pop them.

Wash your face every morning and night with soap and water on a wash cloth with very warm water. Rinse real good..
At bedtime, after rinsing, take a cotton ball or a tissue wadded up, and pour some hydrogen peroxide and dab all over your face, Your forehead, chin cheeks. Then rinse in warm water again and you will feel how smooth your face feels. Pat dry. (Never rub hard. It will eventually break blood vessels under your skin). Do this from now on. If you have any black heads, leave them alone and just do this daily.
(apply Ponds cold cream to your finger tips and spread all over your face to remove make-up.with a very warm wash cloth)

The way i do it… is to let my face get greasy. Your face has natural oils that take care of acne, but those natural oils be killed off by vicious anti-bacterial soaps, or any soaps for that matter. If you're very desperate, go get some face cream. I suggest proactive, about $20 per bottle :/

Proactiv works pretty quickly you notice results after 3 days but it can take a couple weeks to completely disappear. The only annoying thing is that it has a lot of steps

there is no way you will cure your acne in 3 days. It just can't be done. but use something with benzoyl peroxide in it, (it dries out your pimples).

I’ve been visiting your blog for a while now and I always find your posts interesting. Thanks for sharing!

Here’s my number one tip for dealing with acne:

A gentle skin cleaning regimen rather than severe scrubbing with harsh cleaners is recommended. A mild cleanser that can be used twice a day is all that is needed.

If you have moderate to severe acne, you will need to treat from within as well as without. If you don’t your acne will never go away and stay away.
I found the following combination remedy at http://www.21st-apothecary.com/alternative-acne-treatments-that-work.html

1. Take as supplement 500mg of Vitamin C three times each day with a meal or snack. (Up your dosage to 1000mg if you are over 30 years of age.) Do not take all the tablets at once! Vitamin C is water soluble, so it works best when it’s replenished throughout the day.
2. Take 1000mg Flaxseed oil three times per day. It will decrease pore size. (Can also add evening primrose, borage, or black currant seed oils.)
3. Take 100mg of Vitamin B-6 every morning, after breakfast.
4. Drink a tea of Echinacea or Goldenseal twice per day, once upon waking and again in the evening, 2-3 hours before bed.
5. Use a soap or cleanser for “sensitive” skin. The more natural the better. Rosemary or Tea Tree oil soaps, if you can find them where you live, would be especially useful.
6. Make a “before bed” toner, to be used after cleansing each and every night, until your acne is completely gone. Here are the ingredients: 1/3 cup distilled water, 5Tb rubbing alcohol, 5Tb hydrogen peroxide, 2 Tb fresh lemon juice, and 60 drops eucalyptus oil. Shake well to blend. (The alcohol will keep the lemon juice, so there is no need to refrigerate.) You can use every time you cleanse, provided you use a high SPF sunscreen before going outdoors. Always let the toner dry on your skin before applying moisturizer.
7. Only use a oil-free moisturizer for “sensitive” skin and add 8-10 drops of Tea Tree oil per ounce. Always apply moisturizer before sunscreen.
8. Only use an oil-free sunscreen specifically made for the face. Anything else is asking for trouble. Wait at least 30 minutes before going outdoors and refresh your sunscreen every three hours thereafter. The spray varieties are perfect for this, especially if you’re woman who wears cosmetics.
9. In addition, exercise regularly and take time to relax and decompress — meditation, massage — are also important alternative treatments for acne, as the body needs to be at its peak to fight any disease.

It’s been working for me. I started after my last big outbreak on my forehead, nose and chin — it was mid July. My face was smooth again in only a two weeks, and it’s been smooth since.

Another reason I recommend this regimen is my acne had gotten worse, due to hormone treatment for fibroids, but it still worked. If you are being treated naturally for fibroids this is the way to go to get and keep your acne under control.

Good luck!!
